Add a New Site

This shortcode allows you to add a site to your server. Please note, the number of sites you can add is limited to the number of sites available for your plan – you can create any number of additional servers and add sites as long as you’re not going over your plan’s limit for each server. To view the sites you have installed on a server, you may use the sitelist shortcode.

To run Nodalio shortcodes on your server, please follow this guide.

Shortcode usage format:

  • sudo nodalio siteadd

Shortcode reference:

  • – your site’s primary domain/subdomain.
  • – the email associated with this site. This email will be set as the primary admin email in WordPress.

The installation should take approximately 1 minute to complete, Once the site has been created, an email containing all the access information to the site, including default SFTP, PHPMyAdmin, WordPress and Staging credentials will be sent to the server owner and to the email used in the shortcode.

To check the email associated with a site on your server, you may use the siteinfo command.

The complete credentials and access information to the newly created site and its staging environment are presented on-screen after the shortcode is run. In addition, this information is sent to the email address provided for the site. You can also find this information by going to: It’s highly recommended to delete this file as soon as possible.
